In the role of School Swim Coordinator, you oversee all aspects of the centres School Swimming programme and to be ultimately responsible for all staff operating within the Schools Swimming lesson programme. You will maintain a close and positive working relationship with the Swim School Manager, and to develop positive working relationships with our key external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the centres School Swimming programme
  • Responsible for all staff operating within the Schools Swimming lesson programme
  • Maintain a close and positive working relationship with the Swim School Manager
  • Develop positive working relationships with key external partners

Requirements:

  • ASA (Level 2) Swimming Teacher Certificate
  • Experience in a swim school coordinator/management role
  • Experience of problem solving, customer service and staff management
  • Experience of using courses & bookings management software (e.g. On Course/Course Pro)
  • An understanding of identifying staff training and development requirements and identifying development opportunities
  • A high awareness of industry developments, new activities, trends and research
  • Commercial awareness which translates into contributing to a successful and financially viable operation
  • A passion for the industry demonstrated through continuous professional development
  • To be able to work flexibly with a level of autonomy and decision making confidence
  • Excellent communication skills with the strength of character to be assertive and apply empathy where appropriate
  • DBS check to be carried out

Working Hours:

  • 37 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
