Role Description

The Swimming Pool Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based primarily in London and the home counties but also with national coverage. A service engineer is responsible for the servicing and maintenance of swimming pools and wellness installations with day-to-day tasks including vacuuming, inspecting, diagnosing issues, and completing mechanical and electrical repairs on pool plant and associated equipment. The role involves responding to service calls, carrying out water quality testing and treatment, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely in line with company and regulatory standards. The engineer will also communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, document work carried out, and support the installation team when required.

  • Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and water treatment issues efficiently.
  • Field Service experience, including on-site visits, client interaction, and working independently across multiple locations.
  • Effective Communication skills for clear reporting, client updates, and collaboration with internal teams.
  • Technical Support capabilities, providing guidance to clients and colleagues on pool systems, controls, and best practices.
  • Maintenance & Repair skills for pumps, filters, heaters, dosing systems, and other pool plant equipment.
  • Relevant vocational or technical qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing disciplines are highly beneficial.
  • Experience in swimming pool, HVAC, or water treatment environments is an advantage.
  • A valid UK driving license and the ability to work safely, follow procedures, and manage workload with minimal supervision are required.
