Swimming Teacher – Shropshire Leisure Trust
Location: Bishops Castle
Working Hours: Casual, flexible around your current commitments
Salary: £13.00 - £16.98 per hour (depending on your qualification)

Their friendly and welcoming spaces promote healthier and happier lives. They are looking for a Swimming Teacher to join their team and help make a positive difference.
By following the Swim England learn to swim framework, you’ll build swimmers’ confidence through fun and engaging lessons. Many learners progress to competitive swimming, even representing the country. Teaching opportunities are also available across their Quarry, Oswestry & Market Drayton Leisure Centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, enjoyable, and progressive swimming lessons for all ages.
- Work with an entirely flexible contract, teaching as little or as many hours as desired to fit around your existing commitments.
- Engage positively with diverse groups of people, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Requirements

Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or a Swim England (previously ASA) Level 2.

(Advantageous but not essential)
- A valid RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers.
- (Assistance for these qualifications will be provided free of charge.)

Flexibility to complete a DBS check as part of the essential criteria of the role.
