Location: Erdington Leisure Centre, B27 7NS
Salary: £12.75 to £14.25 per hour + excellent benefits
Working hours: Casual, as and when required between Monday to Sunday

About the Role
Birmingham Community Leisure Trust encourages active, healthy lifestyles across the local community. Delivering these services relies on an enthusiastic, customer-focused team, and they're now looking for Swimming Teachers to join their team and help make a positive difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering lessons to suit each swimmer in the class
- Ensuring safe provision and correct use of all equipment
- Establishing and making sure that safety standards are followed in every lesson
- Identifying participants' abilities and encouraging them to reach their full potential
- Providing explanations and demonstrating swimming techniques
- Correcting faults in Swimming techniques and identifying ways to improve performance

Requirements
Does this sound like you? You’ll be a great fit for this role if you...
- Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (Previously ASA) Level 2
- Strong swimmer
- Holding either a valid RLSS UK NPLQ or RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety would be advantageous but not essential as we can provide the training to complete these courses free of charge.
- Hold plenty of enthusiasm and a big smile
- You’ll have excellent customer service skills and be someone who is happy to deal with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Be willing to go the extra mile whilst on your rounds to enable your team to hit their targets.
