Swimming Teacher Leisure Solutions Community Trust – Part Time Position

Barton, Leys and Ferry Leisure Centres, Oxford

Part-time, day hours (Monday to Friday)
Salary
Up to £22.50 per hour plus excellent benefits
About the Role

We seek an enthusiastic, customer-focused professional to join our team as a Swimming Teacher.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn-to-swim framework
- Provide a supportive, inclusive environment for learners of all ages and backgrounds
- Foster long-term swimming skills and confidence while encouraging participation in leisure activities
- Mentor and develop commitment to personal growth, with flexible teaching hours tailored to your lifestyle
- Work across multiple leisure centres in Oxford

Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- A strong customer service mindset
- Experience working with people of all ages and backgrounds
- A STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formally ASA) Level 2

Preferred (but not mandatory) Qualifications
- Valid qualifications in:
- RLSS UK NPLQ or RLSS UK NRASTC
- STA Safety Award for Teachers (Training for these certificates available for free with Leisure Solutions)
