We are seeking a reliable and professional Switchboard & Helpdesk Operator to join our team on a flexible bank contract basis. This role is ideal for someone looking to cover night shifts while enjoying the freedom of a zero-hours arrangement. You should be capable of delivering high levels of service, always remain professional, and ensure Mitie's policies, processes, and procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling incoming calls via the switchboard during night-time hours.
  • Providing excellent customer service and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Logging and escalating helpdesk issues where necessary.
  • Ensuring accurate communication and liaising with relevant departments.
  • Maintaining a calm and professional approach when dealing with callers.

Skills & Experience Required

Shift Pattern

The role involves night shifts from 10pm to 7am, with approximately 3 shifts per week. Flexibility is essential to meet our business needs.
