Syndicate Underwriting Performance Manager
We are working with a leading Lloyd’s Syndicate seeking a Syndicate Underwriting Performance Manager. This role will join the Underwriting Performance team in a newly created position, reporting directly to the Chief Underwriting Officer.
Working closely with the underwriting teams and Portfolio Managers, you'll be responsible for driving underwriting performance across the Syndicate, providing insight into portfolio results and supporting the business to achieve its underwriting and profitability objectives.

- Monitor and analyse underwriting performance across the Syndicate, identifying trends, opportunities and areas of concern.
- Provide regular performance insight and challenge to Underwriters and Portfolio Managers.
- Lead the production and delivery of underwriting performance MI, reporting and portfolio analysis.
- Support the Syndicate's business planning, forecasting and performance management processes.
- Develop and monitor key underwriting KPIs, including loss ratios, rate change, premium, exposure and profitability.
- Provide analysis and challenge around portfolio performance, underwriting appetite and risk selection.
- Support governance forums, underwriting reviews and performance discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with Actuarial, Finance and Underwriting teams to improve performance visibility and decision-making.

What we are looking for
- 7+ years' experience within Lloyd’s or the London Market.
- Previous experience in Underwriting Performance, Portfolio Management, Underwriting Analytics or a similar function.
- Experience with business planning, portfolio monitoring and underwriting MI.
