Role Overview

Our client is seeking a talented Synthetic Chemist to support their team in developing new chemical processes and products. The position involves working closely with senior scientists to deliver high-quality results and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Synthetic Chemist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Develop and optimise synthetic routes to produce target compounds efficiently and sustainably.
- Conduct experiments, analyse data, and interpret results to inform further research and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and product innovation.
- Ensure all laboratory activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- As the Synthetic Chemist, you will maintain accurate documentation of procedures and results for compliance and knowledge sharing.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Synthetic Chemist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in Chemistry, Chemical Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in organic synthesis, preferably within a research or industrial setting.
- Strong analytical skills with a good understanding of spectroscopic and chromatographic techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
