Analysis Review Scientist – NMR & UPLC-MS Interpretation

About Chemify

Chemify is creating a future where important molecules, drugs, and currently unimaginable new materials are instantly accessible, radically increasing the speed of innovation and discovery.

We are building the infrastructure to digitize chemistry through a combination of robotics, artificial intelligence, purpose-built programming languages, and automated synthesis technology.

Backed by leading global investors, including Triatomic Capital, BlueYard Ventures, DCVC, and Founders Fund, Chemify is transforming how molecules are designed, discovered, and synthesized.

About the Role

We are looking for an Analysis Review Scientist to join our growing chemistry team. In this role, you'll review and interpret analytical data generated by our automated synthesis platform, primarily using 1H-NMR and UPLC-MS, to determine whether chemical reactions and purifications have achieved their expected outcomes.

This is a computer-based scientific role rather than a traditional laboratory position. You'll work with digital spectra, review reaction results, and make scientifically informed decisions that help keep our chemistry operations moving.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute feedback and ideas as we continue developing automation for analytical data interpretation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Interpret 1H-NMR spectra and UPLC-MS results to assess reaction success, identify unexpected outcomes, and evaluate potential impurities.
  • Review approximately 35–45 analytical work orders per shift while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Make independent scientific decisions on reaction outcomes, escalating complex or ambiguous results when necessary.
  • Collaborate with synthetic chemists, project operations managers, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of analytical findings and decisions in our digital systems.
  • Identify recurring issues and provide feedback to improve analytical workflows and automation.
  • Work within a rotating shift schedule supporting our seven-day chemistry operations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
