About The Role

To support the quality improvement and right first-time agenda so that products are legally and safely manufactured in compliance with customer and internal Company specifications and standards. To facilitate the launch of new customers, products, and processes into manufacturing

Here are your key tasks and responsibilities as Syrup & Ingredients Manager at Refresco:

  • Manage the end-to-end syrup production process, including carbonation, dilute-to-taste operations, water treatment, CIP systems, and raw material handling, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Maintain product quality and compliance by enforcing quality control standards, preventing the release of non-conforming materials, adhering to process parameters, and supporting management system requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation through process enhancements, product development support, operational excellence initiatives, and collaboration with customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate teams by promoting high performance, delivering training and succession planning, setting clear objectives, and encouraging multi-skilling across all levels.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance, maintaining safe working practices, enforcing H&S policies, sustaining hygiene standards, and managing waste in line with regulations.
  • Support business performance and strategic objectives through effective cost centre and capital expenditure management, strong cross-functional relationships, and assisting in the development and implementation of operational goals and procedures.

About You

We are seeking an experienced manufacturing professional with strong leadership skills, knowledge of quality systems, and proficiency in SAP. The successful candidate will be highly organised, an effective communicator, and able to manage teams, projects, and priorities in a fast-paced production environment while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
