Systems Administrator | London (Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office) | Permanent
About the Company
Our client is a well-established professional services organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation programme. As part of a major Workday implementation, they are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the configuration, administration, adoption and continuous improvement of the platform across the business.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a systems professional with experience supporting enterprise applications, ERP platforms, HR systems or finance systems. You will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, supporting end users, developing reporting capabilities, and driving process improvements as the organisation continues its Workday journey.
Working alongside Finance, HR, IT and operational teams, you will ensure the system is effectively managed and delivers maximum value to the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage system security, user accounts, roles, permissions and access controls.
- Maintain employee and organisational data, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
- Manage data imports, uploads and system maintenance activities.
- Support system configuration, testing, upgrades and release management.
- Maintain workflows, approval processes and task management activities.

Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain and enhance standard and bespoke reports.
- Provide reporting and management information to key stakeholders.
- Support data validation, reconciliation and audit activities.
- Work with business users to identify reporting requirements and deliver solutions.
Training & User Adoption
- Develop and maintain user guides, training materials and process documentation.
- Deliver training sessions and workshops to support users across the business.
- Create engaging learning content, including video-based training resources.
- Promote best practices and drive user adoption of Workday.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Act as a key point of contact for system-related support queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating where required.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT and business stakeholders to improve system processes and performance.
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiency.
- Support future enhancements, integrations and additional Workday modules.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience administering Workday or a similar ERP, HRIS or business-critical application.
- Strong understanding of security administration, user access management and permissions.
- Experience managing data imports, system maintenance and data quality activities.
- Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience producing training documentation and delivering end-user training.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Desirable
- Experience supporting a Workday implementation, migration or optimisation programme.
- Background within professional services, legal, consulting, property or corporate environments.
- Understanding of HR, Finance and operational business processes.
- Experience supporting change management and user adoption initiatives.
