The Role
As a Systems Administrator at Air Apps, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining corporate IT infrastructure, user access, and SaaS tools to ensure a secure and efficient work environment. You will oversee device management, network security, access control, and IT support for employees across the organization.
This role requires technical expertise in IT systems, cloud-based tools, and security best practices to optimize and scale internal operations.
This is a fully onsite position, based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We are open to support with relocation efforts.

Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services, and internal systems.
- Oversee user access, account provisioning, and identity management across platforms (Google Workspace, Okta, Azure AD, etc.).
- Ensure network security, endpoint protection, and data encryption policies are in place.
- Monitor and optimize hardware and software performance, troubleshooting issues as needed.
- Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Maintain and support company-wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian, etc.).
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding employees by setting up and deactivating accounts.
- Automate IT operations, workflows, and system monitoring to improve efficiency.
- Maintain software licenses, compliance requirements, and IT documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to employees, ensuring smooth system usage.
Requirements
- Around 3+ years of experience in IT administration, systems administration, or IT support.
- Experience managing cloud-based corporate IT environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, or Azure).
- Proficiency in identity and access management (IAM) tools (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
- Knowledge of endpoint management solutions (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or similar MDM platforms).
- Familiarity with network security, VPNs, firewalls, and zero-trust security models.
- Experience with IT automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Strong understanding of IT compliance, data privacy regulations (GDPR, SOC 2), and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
