About the Role
As part of the NHS Modernisation Agenda, The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust has embarked on the challenging and exciting task of implementing a new inventory system aiming to have better practices and visibility of stock control, reducing costs and increasing patient safety through the Scan4Safety initiative.
The successful candidate will be a key player during the implementation stages helping with training, floor walking, data gathering, analytics, report creation, supporting and delivering high standards customer services to our end-users. The candidate will have experience in stock control, have great communication skills and be able to work as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
The role of the Systems Support Assistant encompasses the following main responsibilities:
- High levels of proactivity
- IMS System support, guidance and training.
- Catalogue management and Template management within IMS system.
- Analysing data, interpreting and reporting results.
- Advice and guidance based on results of analytical work.
- Working on discreet projects, usually with other members of the Systems Team.
- Reporting on live stock data and advising on par levels based on SOP’s
