Systems Business Analyst

Location: Loughborough, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in ERP and business systems? We're looking for a Systems Business Analyst to join a growing IT team, working across the wider business to understand requirements, improve processes and deliver effective technology solutions.

This is a varied role combining business analysis, ERP systems, project delivery and team leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a real impact across the organisation.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Working with stakeholders across the business to understand and prioritise requirements.
  • Running workshops and translating business needs into clear specifications and user stories.
  • Mapping current and future business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Supporting ERP and integrated systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Sage X3.
  • Working with IT teams, vendors and third-party providers to deliver system improvements.
  • Leading and developing the Systems Team.
  • Managing systems support, priorities and service delivery.
  • Supporting system upgrades, integrations, testing and deployments.
  • Ensuring systems meet security, governance and compliance requirements.
  • Managing the systems demand pipeline and helping prioritise projects.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and driving measurable business benefits.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with team leadership or management experience.
  • Strong experience working with ERP and integrated business systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly desirable.
  • Experience gathering requirements and mapping business processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working across systems support and project delivery.
  • Good understanding of governance, compliance and IT controls.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work across different areas of the business.
  • Experience within a manufacturing or multi-site environment would be advantageous.
