Role: System Developer
Location: Wales (remote)
Role type: Temporary
Duration: 7 months
Hourly rate: £23,06 (£44,367 pro-rata)
Reporting to: Business Insight Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain business information systems and applications.
- Design and support the organisation's data warehouse and reporting platform.
- Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Design secure data integration, import, export, and ETL solutions.
- Automate and streamline business processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with GDPR and organisational policies.
- Support the development and maintenance of digital platforms and web-based services.
- Provide systems training, guidance, and technical support to end users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.

Essential Criteria
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in systems development and implementation.
- Strong practical experience with: SQL, Power BI, SharePoint (or equivalent platforms)
- Data warehousing and data integration solutions
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of software development and information systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working collaboratively across teams.
- Understanding of data governance, security, and GDPR requirements.
