About the Role
As a System Engineer, you'll support the technical delivery of a major Royal Navy simulation programme, working across the full systems engineering lifecycle. You'll collaborate with engineering teams, customers and stakeholders to develop, integrate and deliver complex technical solutions that meet programme and customer requirements.
You'll play an important role in supporting system design, integration and testing, managing technical issues and contributing to the development of mission-critical defence and simulation capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of systems engineering activities across a complex Royal Navy simulation programme.
- Contribute to system design and architecture across the engineering lifecycle.
- Develop and manage technical requirements, ensuring solutions meet customer and programme objectives.
- Support system integration, verification, testing and acceptance activities.
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues and engineering challenges.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop and integrate technical solutions.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support successful delivery.
- Contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, customer demonstrations and future capability development.

Essential Experience
- Strong background in Systems Engineering.
- Experience working on complex engineering systems or technical programmes.
- Experience across areas such as requirements, system design, integration, verification and validation.
- Good technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Defence, aerospace, maritime or other highly regulated engineering experience would be advantageous.
- Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance – must be a sole UK national.
