Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid System Engineer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home. The System Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and infrastructure to ensure stable and secure operations.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, contribute to system architecture decisions, and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency. The System Engineer will also document configurations, procedures, and best practices to support ongoing maintenance and future development.

Qualifications

  • Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for building and optimizing infrastructure solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in System Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of servers and related services.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose and resolve system and application issues.
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), networking fundamentals, and security best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing tasks both onsite and remotely.
  • Solid documentation, communication, and collaboration skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, or scripting languages is beneficial.
