System Support Analyst
📍 Hybrid Working | Northampton Area
⏰ Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday
💰 Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
📅 Closing Date: 2 October 2026
At Bright Horizons, we're looking for a motivated and analytical System Support Analyst to join our Business and IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with business systems, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple functions.
In this role, you'll become a key subject matter expert for a range of business systems, supporting system enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support activities. You'll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to help deliver system improvements that support our growing business.
This position offers excellent exposure to system change management, business analysis, testing, process improvement, and audit compliance, making it ideal for someone looking to develop their technical and business systems expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing expertise across a range of business systems and becoming a trusted Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Supporting the end-to-end system change lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to implementation
- Working with internal stakeholders and vendors to manage system changes, releases, updates, and enhancements
- Facilitating workshops and meetings to gather requirements and document findings
- Managing system change pipelines and maintaining accurate change logs
- Conducting research, analysing data, and presenting recommendations
- Monitoring and following up on system support issues through to resolution
- Producing process maps, procedures, business documentation, and project materials
- Gathering, documenting, validating, and analysing business requirements
- Performing gap analysis and impact assessments for proposed changes
- Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, test scripting, defect management, and reporting
- Assisting with implementation planning, rollouts, and system adoption activities
- Creating clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
- Supporting SOX controls, audits, compliance activities, and user access reviews
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and with third-party vendors

What We're Looking For
We're interested in hearing from candidates who have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience working with business systems, application support, or technology-related processes
- The ability to document requirements, processes, and technical information clearly
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in system improvement and business change
- Experience supporting testing, implementations, or change management activities would be advantageous

- Previous experience working within a nursery, childcare, education, or highly regulated environment
