What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Developing and executing validation test protocols according to IEC 62304 and FDA design control requirements
- Performing system testing and documenting test results to demonstrate device safety and effectiveness
- Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to identify and resolve validation issues
- Maintaining validation documentation, traceability matrices and compliance records
- Supporting regulatory submissions with validation evidence and test reports
- Contributing to design verification and validation activities throughout the product lifecycle
What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related STEM discipline
- Experience in validation or quality assurance, preferably within a regulated medical device or life sciences environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304 and Class III medical device standards
- Familiarity with test planning, test execution and validation documentation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically with complex regulatory requirements
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
