Systems Accountant & Financial Modeller
We're recruiting for a Systems Accountant & Financial Modeller to join the finance function of a large, complex organisation. This is a high-impact role where you'll take ownership of key finance systems, develop sophisticated financial models and help shape improvements across budgeting, forecasting and reporting.

Description
- Acting as the finance systems expert, troubleshooting issues and driving improvements.
- Building, developing and maintaining complex financial models.
- Supporting and developing financial accounting systems.
- Using advanced Excel skills to improve modelling, analysis and reporting.
- Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes.
- Supporting budgeting and rolling forecasts.
- Providing insightful analysis to help improve financial and commercial performance.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders and translating complex financial information into clear business insight.
- Taking the lead on finance systems, change and potential integration projects.

A successful Systems Accountant & Financial Modeller should have:
- Ideally ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong finance systems experience
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Commercially minded with excellent analytical skills
- Confident communicating with finance and non-finance stakeholders
- An individual who seeks improvements and can evidence past history.
Job Offer
- Salary between £68,000 and £75,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Pension scheme.
- Permanent role based in Birmingham.
- Hybrid working.
