HSEQ Systems Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading science and innovation campus as an HSEQ Systems Administrator. Supporting a world-class research environment, this role sits within a central Health, Safety, Environment & Quality team responsible for maintaining high standards of compliance, safety and governance across a diverse and complex organisation.
This is primarily an administrative and coordination-focused position, ideal for an organised professional with experience in document control, compliance administration or HSEQ support. The successful candidate will play a key role in the implementation of a new Health & Safety Management System, ensuring documentation is accurately reviewed, updated and migrated in line with organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, update and migrate health and safety documentation into a new Health & Safety Management System.
- Audit existing policies, procedures, risk assessments and compliance records.
- Manage document control processes, including version control and document governance.
- Support the implementation and ongoing administration of HSEQ systems and processes.
- Liaise with stakeholders across facilities, operations and support teams to collect, verify and update documentation.
- Monitor compliance records and identify any gaps or areas for improvement.
- Produce progress reports and management information for senior stakeholders.
- Maintain training records, accident logs, inspection records and other HSEQ documentation.
- Support colleagues with system adoption and process updates.
- Provide general administrative support to the HSEQ function, including inbox management and action tracking.

About You
The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, compliance, document control or HSEQ support role.
- Strong document management and version control experience.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- A proactive, collaborative and professional approach.

Desirable Experience
- Experience supporting Health & Safety, Facilities or Compliance teams.
- Knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and risk assessment processes.
- Experience using HSEQ, EHS or compliance management systems.
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (or working towards).
- Experience supporting system implementation or change management projects.
