Systems Administrator
6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Rate: Up to £450 per day
VIQU are looking for a Systems Administrator to support a large global organisation and maintain their range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business.
You will be working in their Infrastructure team supporting them with 3rd line queries – covering both BAU activities and supporting in Projects
Systems Administrator Experience/Skillset requirements:
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Hyper-V or VMware – ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
- Entra ID or Okta
- Fortinet / Fortigate Firewalls
- Wireless Technologies
- Basic Networking – Router / Switches
- Any Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial

Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd Line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex escalated incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.
- Maintain and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
- Support networking infrastructure, including Fortinet and Cisco Meraki technologies, as well as general infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support for infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.
- Work closely with internal IT teams in an ITIL-based environment, contributing to projects, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes
