Role Description

The Systems Administrator will provide part-time remote support to maintain and optimise client infrastructure across cloud environments.

The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, collaborating with consultants and engineers on secure system designs, and helping implement best practices for performance, resilience, and security.

The Systems Administrator will also contribute to documentation, support processes, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with client compliance and operational needs.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in System Administration and Information Technology to manage servers, user environments, and core infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and document issues efficiently.
  • Experience in Network Administration to configure, monitor, and secure networks across cloud and hybrid setups.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure) and security best practices.
  • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and patch management processes in business-critical environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritise tasks, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft or AWS certifications) are beneficial.
  • Experience supporting organisations in regulated or security-sensitive industries is an advantage.
