Role Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in Belfast. Neueda’s IT infrastructure is central to our growth strategy -supporting the people, platforms, and systems that enable us to scale our training delivery, operate efficiently, and expand into new areas with confidence.

In this role, you will take responsibility for the IT environment that keeps Neueda running - from endpoint and cloud management to security posture, collaboration tooling, and documentation. You’ll work with modern Microsoft cloud technologies at the core, embedded in a fast-moving and growing organisation. If you enjoy solving real problems, keeping critical systems secure and reliable, and seeing your work directly enable business productivity, this role offers both technical challenge and clear impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement, configuration, maintenance, and ongoing support of end-user devices including laptops, mobile phones, and tablets
  • Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, network, and application components across the IT environment.
  • Administer and support internal tools and platforms including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 and other business-critical systems
  • Support cybersecurity certification requirements through effective management and configuration of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and security controls
  • Enforce IT security best practices to prevent cyber threats, security breaches, and data loss
  • Ensure secure storage, backup, and retrieval of organisational data, including disaster recovery processes
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of new software and systems to support evolving business requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to staff on technology usage and best practices.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems, processes, and procedures within Confluence.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role.
  • Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Proven experience using Microsoft Intune for device configuration, compliance policies, application deployment, and endpoint management.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Entra ID including user lifecycle management, conditional access policies, and identity governance.
  • Experience configuring and managing Microsoft Defender to maintain security posture and respond to threats.
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and endpoint security best practices.
  • Experience implementing and managing backup, disaster recovery, and data protection strategies.
  • Experience supporting collaboration and productivity platforms including Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.

  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Microsoft Security certifications, CompTIA Network+, or similar.
  • Strong documentation skills with experience maintaining technical documentation in Confluence or similar platforms.
