The Opportunity

To lead, mentor and supervise a team of Systems Analysts (at various levels) in the efficient and effective delivery of solution design and functional specifications for Almac Information Services, ensuring that focus is on a quality deliverable throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

To motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding of team members, and demonstrates flexibility.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK with no restrictions OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full-time employment in the UK.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
  • Significant’ experience in a Systems Analysis, Business Analysis or related analytical role.
  • Experience of software delivery activities within a GxP / pharmaceutical / other regulated environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading, supervising or line-managing a team of analysts or related professionals.
  • A record of being able to coach and mentor other team members to get the best from them.
  • Experience of contributing to strategy, KPIs and continuous improvement of an analytical function.
  • Excellent understanding of the software development lifecycle across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate functional and technical information and ideas clearly and concisely to non-technical staff at all levels.
  • Experience working with commercial off the shelf solutions and vendor engagement.
