Description

Systems Analyst

Examples of Duties

  • Support Users: train, create user documentation, build and run reports, conduct usability testing, troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain Systems: learn technologies.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited college, university, or vocational school preferred.
  • Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.

Additional Duties

  • Under supervision, performs computer systems design, implementation, management, and/or control tasks.
  • Assists in, or performs, special project work as assigned.
  • Troubleshoots computer system problems and provides other technical assistance as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited college, university, or vocational school is required.
  • One year of relevant full-time experience in the set-up and configuration of personal computers in a networking environment (Novell and/or Microsoft NT) (may include unpaid internships) is required.
  • Valid state of Ohio Driver's License is required.

WATER (CONTROL SYSTEMS)

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field from an accredited college, university, or vocational school is required.
  • One year of relevant full-time paid experience in the design/set-up, configuration, and maintenance of process computer control systems is required.
  • (Substitution: One year of related experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.)
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required.
  • Instrumentation Society of Automation (ISA) certification is preferred.
