The role:
We are looking for a Systems Analyst to join our IT department in Bristol.
The role will provide dedicated technical and functional support for the suite of applications used by the Marketing & Business Development (M&BD) team. This includes:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for M&BD application support and development.
- Ensuring the stability, performance, and usability of platforms such as InterAction, Introhive, and Vuture.
- Supporting the M&BD team in leveraging new and existing technology to drive client engagement and business development.
- Managing integrations and data flows between M&BD systems and other platforms – including:
- Use of Azure API Management (APIM) for secure, scalable integrations between M&BD systems and other platforms – including support for event-driven workflows, such as syncing attendee data and engagement insights between Microsoft Teams webinars, InterAction, and Introhive to enhance client relationship tracking and campaign effectiveness.
- Synchronisation between Introhive and InterAction for CRM enrichment and relationship intelligence.
- Data exchange between Vuture and InterAction to support targeted marketing campaigns and event communications.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of M&BD tools and processes through stakeholder collaboration and technical insight.
What will you do:
- Provide day-to-day support and technical ownership of M&BD applications, including InterAction, Introhive, and Vuture.
- Act as the primary contact for incident resolution, service requests, and change management related to M&BD systems.
- Manage system configurations, upgrades, and vendor relationships to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Collaborate with the M&BD team to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements or new functionality.
- Maintain and improve integrations between M&BD systems and other platforms, including: Microsoft Teams and InterAction via Azure API Management (APIM); Introhive and InterAction for CRM enrichment and relationship intelligence; and Vuture and InterAction for marketing campaign and event communications.
- Support data quality initiatives, including contact deduplication, enrichment, and relationship mapping.
- Contribute to strategic projects that enhance client engagement, marketing automation, and business development analytics.
- Produce and maintain documentation, training materials, and knowledge articles for end users and support teams.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or optimisation.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support for new features and integrations.
- Plan and prioritise work using agile methodologies, including creating and managing user stories, sprints, and backlogs to ensure timely and efficient delivery of updates and new features across M&BD systems.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Partners, and Scrum Masters to maintain delivery expectations and ensure alignment with M&BD priorities.
- Engage with stakeholders across Marketing, Business Development, and IT to manage expectations and gather feedback on system performance and enhancements.
- Review own and others’ work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and presentation quality in system configurations, documentation, and user-facing outputs.
- Work closely with quality assurance and testing teams to validate new releases and updates to M&BD applications, ensuring they meet functional and user experience standards.
- Conduct testing of system changes and integrations (e.g. InterAction, Introhive, Vuture), logging and resolving issues related to data flows, automation, or user interface.
- Produce and maintain documentation, including release notes, user guides, and support materials, and manage the transition of new features into production.
- Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions for end users and support staff to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and features.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts across the firm to ensure M&BD systems meet evolving business needs.
- Contribute to the expansion and optimisation of M&BD technology usage, supporting initiatives that improve client engagement, marketing effectiveness, and data-driven decision-making.

What we are looking for:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across Marketing, Business Development, and IT.
- Able to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
- Comfortable facilitating discussions, gathering requirements, and managing expectations with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience producing clear documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Solid understanding of CRM and marketing platforms, particularly InterAction, Introhive, and Vuture.
- Familiarity with data integration and synchronisation between systems, including API-based workflows.
- Awareness of Azure API Management (APIM) and its role in secure, scalable integrations (e.g. Microsoft Teams to InterAction).
- Competence in agile delivery practices, including backlog management, sprint planning, and user story creation.
- Working knowledge of ITIL Foundation principles, with the ability to raise change requests, manage incidents, and follow service management processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting business development or marketing systems in a professional services environment.
- Proven track record of delivering system improvements and supporting end users.
- Exposure to data quality initiatives, including contact deduplication, enrichment, and relationship mapping.
- Experience working with vendors and third-party platforms to deliver enhancements and resolve issues.
- Flexibility and ability/willingness to work out of hours, if required, to support the implementation of changes and provide support for priority incidents.
- Willingness to undertake occasional international travel, if required, to support business needs.
