About the job you're considering

Join a long-standing, high-impact partnership shaping the future of digital services.

Capgemini has been a trusted partner to this client since 2001, building a mature and highly collaborative relationship that continues to thrive. Over the years, we’ve successfully delivered a market-leading online service and remain at the forefront of major transformation programmes, driven by our dedicated Capgemini project teams.

Today, we’re entering an exciting new phase. Our current programme is focused on modernising existing schemes, enhancing functionality, and introducing innovative new features that will define the service for years to come. You’ll play a key role in supporting and evolving these solutions as part of a forward-thinking team.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, supportive environment, based across the client site in Cardiff and our Welsh Delivery Centre. We operate a flexible hybrid working model, combining remote work with regular visits to our Cardiff offices — giving you the best of both worlds.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role

  • Desire to commit to a long-term role and develop a rewarding career within a highly complex environment.
  • Reporting to the team’s Test Lead within the support element of a contract.
  • Working in an agile methodology through iterative sprints.
  • Identifying and understand the business requirements for the functional change.
  • Identifying suitable regression tests.
  • Defect and task management through JIRA / Confluence.
  • Work closely with software developers to reach a common understanding of the code base and test coverage at unit level.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to ensure the required business scenarios are covered.
  • Work on both functional and non-functional areas of testing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
