- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981.00 to $129,491.00 (Clerk Grade 7/8)

The role
Our PMO and Governance Team is seeking a Systems and Data Analyst to help strengthen how DPHI uses data to understand, manage and improve the performance of its initiatives within the Portfolio. You will design and maintain data models, datasets, semantic models, reports and dashboards that turn reliable information into practical insights for operational and project decision-making.
Working closely with stakeholders, you will translate business needs into reporting solutions, improve data integrity and governance, and support people to use data with confidence.
This opportunity supports clearer reporting, stronger collaboration and better outcomes across Corporate Services and the Department.

What you will bring to the role
- Experience designing, developing and maintaining data models, datasets, semantic models, reports and dashboards that deliver accurate and reusable insights within a Portfolio, Program and Project discipline.
- Strong Power BI, SQL, SSRS and reporting skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical reporting and data solutions.
- Ability to monitor data quality, identify issues and support timely resolution to ensure reporting outputs remain accurate and fit for purpose.
- Understanding of data governance practices, including definitions, standards, data integrity and appropriate use of data across reporting outputs.
- Experience managing data flows, integration processes and reporting environments, with a focus on reliability, security and continuity.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present reporting insights clearly, support adoption of data-driven practices and contribute to work with positive impact across Corporate Services and the Department.
- Clear understanding of Project Management methodologies, practices and how standardisation improves efficiency and effectiveness.
