The Opportunity
We are looking for a Systems Architect to join a growing engineering team working on complex systems across the defence sector.
This is an opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary environment, using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to develop and capture system architectures for mission critical projects.
Working as part of the Architecture team, you will collaborate with engineers across different disciplines and contribute to the development of system designs and architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support key engineering milestones and design reviews.
- Help ensure models and designs are complete, consistent and ready for mission use.
- Support commonality and re-use across different product areas.
- Work alongside design teams to develop and capture system designs using MBSE.
- Create and review architecture documentation and models.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in Systems Architecture and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience using Rhapsody or an equivalent modelling tool.
- Experience with Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) or an equivalent configuration control tool.
- Experience with DOORS Next Generation or an equivalent requirements management tool.
- A good understanding of SysML and architectural principles.
- Comfortable working within complex engineering environments and across different product areas.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Mission Planning would be useful but is not essential.
