Business Analyst – SuccessFactors
Contract Opportunity
Duration: 1 month initial - with intentions to hire for 12 months
Start Date: Immediate
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a payroll transformation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to support the selection and implementation of a new payroll solution. Working closely with key stakeholders across the business, you will help develop a comprehensive procurement document (partially completed) that will be issued to prospective payroll providers as part of the vendor selection process.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and complete the procurement documentation for a new payroll solution.
- Conduct detailed stakeholder interviews across:
- IT
- Payroll
- Finance
- Analyse existing payroll processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs and stakeholder feedback into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
- Produce high-quality business requirements documentation to support the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support the evaluation of payroll vendor responses against the documented requirements.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering payroll or HR transformation projects.
- Strong experience eliciting requirements through workshops and interviews with senior stakeholders, including Directors, Managers, and Process Leads.
- Ability to challenge, probe, and uncover underlying business requirements.
- Demonstrable experience producing both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Strong business process analysis and process improvement skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Desirable Experience
- Experience as a Systems Business Analyst.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or SAP SuccessFactors.
- Previous experience supporting payroll system procurement or implementation projects.
