About the Role
Think you know DHL? Think again! We're not just about delivering parcels. DHL Supply Chain is the world's leading logistics company and our people are the unsung heroes who keep the cogs turning and the country running smoothly.
Join our team as a Systems Clerk and play a key role in keeping our warehouse operation running smoothly. This is a hands-on, warehouse-based role that acts as the link between Operations and Inventory, supporting colleagues through warehouse systems, resolving issues, and ensuring stock and orders are processed accurately.
A Typical Day May Involve
- Acting as a warehouse systems "super user", supporting colleagues with system queries and troubleshooting issues.
- Processing inbound deliveries and outbound orders, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately within the warehouse management system.
- Monitoring system activity, investigating errors, and resolving order or stock discrepancies.
- Completing and maintaining accurate documentation for stock movements, receipts, and dispatches.
- Generating reports and analysing data to support operational performance and decision-making.
- Working closely with Operations and Inventory teams to ensure stock accuracy and smooth warehouse processes.
- Escalating system faults where required and supporting the implementation of solutions.
- Supporting management with administrative and operational tasks as needed while maintaining a safe working environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
