Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,235 per annum
About The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Systems Co-ordinator to join a leading organisation specialising in testing, consultancy, training, innovation and technical services within the furniture and floor coverings sector.
The organisation is recognised internationally for supporting manufacturers, suppliers and retailers by delivering high-quality testing and certification services against UK, European and international standards. Operating within a UKAS-accredited ISO 17025 Quality Management System (QMS), the team is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.
This role will play a key part in supporting and developing quality management and health & safety systems across the Furniture and Floor Coverings divisions.
Key Responsibilities
Following a period of training, responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and improving quality-related records and documentation, including calibration certificates, equipment maintenance records, certificates of conformity, standard reference materials, gap analyses, software validations and spreadsheet validations.
- Conducting calibrations, drift analyses, risk assessments, witnessed assessments, and measurement uncertainty calculations within agreed timescales.
- Managing internal check testing and participation in industry trials.
- Supporting Business Area Managers with annual UKAS audits, including auditor coordination and the collection of evidence relating to improvement actions.
- Coordinating ISO 17025 scope extension activities where required.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
- Working closely with Health, Safety and Environmental colleagues to ensure compliance with legal and organisational health and safety requirements.
- Maintaining personal training and competency records.
- Purchasing and verifying standard reference materials.
- Completing COSHH documentation when required.

About You
Essential Requirements
- A-Levels (or equivalent), including Mathematics.
- Previous experience within a quality-focused environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated, reliable and adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Good time management abilities.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Understanding of the importance of working within a quality management system.
- Effective problem-solving skills.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience implementing or maintaining quality management systems, such as ISO 17025 or ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and compliance requirements.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience resolving technical or process-related issues.
- Additional further education qualifications.
