We’re looking for a Systems Development Officer to join our Systems Administration Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting and developing the systems that underpin the delivery of essential Revenues and Benefits services.
As a Systems Development Officer, you will provide technical support for the maintenance, testing and day-to-day operation of a range of software applications used across Revenues and Benefits services. You will help ensure our systems run efficiently and accurately while supporting staff across the service.

- Working closely with the Systems Team Leader, service colleagues, software suppliers and third-party providers, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality services across areas such as Council Tax, Housing Benefit and Council Tax Reduction and Business Rates (NNDR).
The successful candidate will be technically capable and customer-focused, with strong ICT skills and experience of working with specialist software systems, including document management systems, ideally within a Revenues, Benefits or similar service environment. You'll be a confident problem-solver with excellent analytical abilities, capable of understanding and supporting information systems while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
