Alcester, Warwickshire | Hybrid after probation | £28,000 per annum
At CREAVO, we're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping people, and getting technology working the way it should.
We're not a corporate IT company with layers of management, endless meetings and being passed from team to team. We're a growing managed IT provider that works closely with ambitious UK businesses, and we're looking for a Systems Engineer to join us on that journey.
If you're currently working in a 1st or 2nd line role and want more responsibility, more variety, and more exposure to projects and modern Microsoft technologies, we'd love to hear from you.
About CREAVO
CREAVO was founded to build the kind of IT company that owner-managed businesses actually enjoy working with.
We support organisations across the UK, typically employing between 10 and 150 people, acting as their outsourced IT department. Our job is simple: keep their technology secure, reliable and helping them achieve their goals.
We're known for being approachable, proactive and easy to work with. No jargon. No hard sell. No hiding behind tickets. Just good people doing good work.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work directly with CREAVO's technical co-founder and play a key role in supporting our customers both remotely and on-site, helping resolve technical issues, deliver service requests and work on a wide range of projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing remote and onsite technical support to end users.
- Diagnosing and resolving 1st and 2nd line issues.
- Taking ownership of technical problems through to resolution.
- Delivering service requests and change requests.
- Deploying and configuring workstations, laptops and IT equipment.
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades and customer projects.
- Carrying out proactive maintenance and health checks.
- Working closely with our co-founders and leadership team.
- Contributing to internal improvements, automation and documentation.
- Building trusted relationships with customers and becoming a familiar face they can rely on.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
