About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team in Belfast. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex engineering projects within a hybrid work environment, primarily based at our Belfast office with three days per week remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of engineering projects, with a particular emphasis on requirements management, system integration, verification, validation, and qualification processes. This position is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, possesses strong technical expertise, and is eager to contribute to high-stakes projects that impact national security and technological advancement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in systems engineering, ideally within defense, aerospace, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of requirements management, system integration, verification, and validation processes.
- Experience with system design, development, and lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with engineering tools and software such as MATLAB, Simulink, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Security clearance or eligibility to obtain SC clearance is essential.
Responsibilities
- Support the full engineering lifecycle, including requirements capture, analysis, and management.
- Lead or contribute to system integration activities, ensuring seamless interoperability of components.
- Perform verification and validation activities to ensure system performance and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in the development of system qualification plans and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions that meet project requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews, risk assessments, and configuration management processes.
- Document engineering processes, test results, and system configurations accurately and thoroughly.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during system development and deployment phases.
