What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Designing end-to-end systems architectures that align business strategy with technical capability
- Evaluating technology options and recommending solutions that balance performance, cost and maintainability
- Working with engineering teams to implement and optimize systems across infrastructure and applications
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Documenting architectures, design decisions and implementation approaches for clarity and knowledge transfer
- Contributing to technical strategy and helping teams adopt best practices in systems design
- Supporting problem-solving on complex technical challenges across multiple domains

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- 5+ years' experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture or a closely related technical role
- Demonstrated expertise designing scalable, enterprise-grade systems and infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid environments
- Experience with containerization, orchestration and modern deployment practices
- Solid understanding of networking, security and data architecture principles
- Excellent communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Nice-to-have
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification or equivalent
- Experience in a specific domain such as financial services, healthcare or e-commerce
