Job Description: IT Systems Engineer

Looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join a high-performing IT team. In this role, you will provide high-level technical support, contribute to major infrastructure projects, and ensure the resilience, high availability, and performance of servers, storage, and virtualisation platforms across more than 180 global locations.

Multi National and Multi Platform business is hiring an IT Systems Engineer to help power secure, resilient systems across 180+ worldwide locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support and contribute to major infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of servers, storage, and virtualisation platforms.
  • Manage and enhance core datacentre services, ensuring stability, compliance, and continual improvement.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint, Intune, Teams, and Exchange, with a focus on security and reliability.
  • Ensure business-wide IT changes follow formal CAB processes.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Support Experience: Relevant background in 2nd/3rd line infrastructure roles.
  • Cloud & Microsoft Ecosystem: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
  • Infrastructure & Virtualisation: Solid hands-on experience with on-premises server technologies, VMware Enterprise products, and Hyper-V.
  • Storage & Hardware: HPE server hardware, Fibre Channel SAN solutions, and Veeam Backup & Replication.
  • Networks & Automation: Experience supporting geographically dispersed sites via SD-WAN alongside scripting or automation tools.
