About The Role

We are excited to present an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a well-established engineering manufacturing company that develops specialized products for complex technical applications. This role is integral to the company's ongoing growth and innovation initiatives. The Systems Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Manager to translate customer requirements into functional systems, overseeing the entire process from initial specifications through to integration, testing, and final installation. This position offers a broad scope of responsibilities, allowing the successful candidate to stay deeply involved in engineering details while witnessing the tangible results of their work through manufacturing and commissioning processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Practical experience within a multidisciplinary engineering environment is essential, particularly in integrating hardware, software, and physical systems. Experience in scientific instrumentation, precision engineering, or other complex engineered products will be highly regarded. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of systems engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively across diverse teams. Familiarity with risk management, technical documentation, and verification processes is also desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Define and develop system requirements, architectures, and interfaces across mechanical, electronic, software, and physics disciplines to ensure cohesive system integration.
  • Coordinate systems integration activities, including verification and validation processes, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing to guarantee system performance and reliability.
  • Identify, resolve, and document system-level issues, managing technical risks, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure systems operate as intended and meet customer specifications.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports, maintaining clarity and accuracy for all stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical insights and feedback during the development and deployment phases.
