About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Maidstone, Kent. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary between 50,000 and 60,000, along with excellent career progression opportunities, comprehensive training, and benefits. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting multidisciplinary engineering projects throughout their lifecycle, from initial concept to final delivery. You will work closely with Mechanical, Electronics, Software, Physics, Production, and Installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and integration.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for complex engineering projects, possess strong technical problem-solving skills, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational abilities. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of highly technical, bespoke systems used in scientific and industrial applications within a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess relevant qualifications and experience, including:
- Proven experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and practices.
- Strong technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electronic, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience with system architecture development, integration, verification, and validation processes.
- Knowledge of configuration and change management procedures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
- Develop and refine system architectures and interfaces to meet technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Support integration, verification, and validation activities, including factory and site acceptance testing.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, procedures, and reports.
- Manage configuration control and change management processes to ensure project integrity.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure technical deliverables align with project timelines and budgets.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes and product quality.
- Participate in risk assessments and troubleshooting activities to resolve technical issues promptly.
