Role Description

The Systems Engineer - Automotive Engineering role at Gegnat Inc. is a contract, on-site position based in Warwick. In this role, the Systems Engineer will design, develop, and integrate automotive systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Creating and reviewing technical documentation
  • Performing system-level troubleshooting
  • Providing technical support for automotive engineering projects

The Systems Engineer will work closely with client stakeholders to ensure effective system implementation and alignment with project objectives.

  • Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills in automotive or related engineering domains.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for complex automotive systems and components.
  • Experience with System Administration of engineering tools, environments, and related infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards, safety requirements, and validation/testing processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and system documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and quality.
