Role Description
The Systems Engineer - Automotive Engineering role at Gegnat Inc. is a contract, on-site position based in Warwick. In this role, the Systems Engineer will design, develop, and integrate automotive systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Analyzing system requirements
- Creating and reviewing technical documentation
- Performing system-level troubleshooting
- Providing technical support for automotive engineering projects
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Supporting system administration tasks related to engineering tools and environments
- Participating in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
The Systems Engineer will work closely with client stakeholders to ensure effective system implementation and alignment with project objectives.
Qualifications

- Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills in automotive or related engineering domains.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for complex automotive systems and components.
- Experience with System Administration of engineering tools, environments, and related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of automotive standards, safety requirements, and validation/testing processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, schematics, and system documentation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and quality.
