Up to SGD $1,000,000+. Rust and C++ in production. No legacy tech debt. No compromise on latency. Singapore.
We are mandated by a proprietary trading firm operating at the intersection of high-frequency trading, market making and decentralised finance to find a senior Trading Systems Engineer for their Singapore office.
This is not a bank. Not a legacy institution. The codebase is modern, the team is small and elite, and your engineering decisions have real and immediate market impact.
The role:
- Design and build low-latency, high-throughput trading systems supporting a broad range of HFT and algorithmic strategies.
- Build and maintain connectivity with exchanges, on-chain protocols and traditional market venues globally.
- Work directly with traders and quants to translate ideas into production-grade systems at speed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
