Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gaydon for a Systems Engineer specializing in manufacturing vehicle health management. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining vehicle health management systems within a manufacturing environment, ensuring reliable data collection, diagnostics, and monitoring of vehicle platforms.

- Developing system architectures
- Configuring and administering system tools
- Performing root-cause analysis on system and vehicle health issues
- Providing technical support to manufacturing and engineering teams
The Systems Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve system performance, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role also includes:
- Documenting system designs and procedures
- Supporting testing and validation activities
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong Systems Engineering and Systems Design skills for developing, integrating, and optimizing vehicle health management solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose complex issues and provide effective resolutions in a manufacturing environment.
- System Administration skills to configure, monitor, and maintain system infrastructure and tools used for vehicle health management.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, vehicle diagnostics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive), Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working with vehicle health monitoring systems, embedded systems, or automotive manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and document system designs and procedures effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
