Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive Systems Engineer responsible for ensuring the internal systems are secure, reliable, and effective in supporting the company. In this role, you will take ownership for the operation, implementation, and enhancements of these systems, while contributing to the discovery and evaluation of new technologies and improvements to existing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Core Environments & Identity
- Oversee and optimize daily administration across dual Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 setups.
- Control the full identity and access management (IAM) lifecycle, managing accounts, group permissions, and authentication controls for internal staff and external partners.
- Oversee licensing, vendor contracts, and tool allocations to balance user needs with operational efficiency.
Device & Endpoint Management
- Provision, secure, and support multi-OS laptop and desktop fleet, including Windows, macOS, and varied Linux distributions (Debian, Red Hat, and Arch variants).
- Manage mobile endpoints across iOS and Android, taking care of automated enrollment, profile policies, remote management, and user troubleshooting.
- Build, audit, and maintain secure baseline configurations for all hardware and software.

Information Governance & Operations
- Design and govern collaborative workspaces and file-sharing structures to keep company data organized, searchable, and strictly governed.
- Monitor system health, respond to operational incidents, and liaise with third-party vendors to resolve outages or service issues.
- Standardize administrative workflows and leverage scripting or native automation to eliminate manual tasks.
Cross-Functional & Strategic Collaboration
- Partner with Product, Software, and Strategy teams to test, evaluate, and roll out new technologies or system upgrades.
- Author clear technical standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and end-user self-service guides.
- Advocate for best practices in data security and workplace productivity while supporting the company’s ethical and environmental commitments.

What We Are Looking For
- System Administration: Proven experience managing hybrid productivity suites (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365) in a corporate setting.
- Identity Management: Strong understanding of directory services, single sign-on (SSO), and access control frameworks.
- Multi-OS Expertise: Hands-on experience managing and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and diverse Linux environments.
- Problem Solving & Automation: A mindset focused on process simplification, standardized configurations, and workflow automation.
- Communication: Ability to write clean technical documentation and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
