About The Role
We are seeking RF Engineers at various levels and across disciplines to join our dynamic team at our Gloucester site. You’ll work on a variety of Defence, Cyber, and Intelligence programmes, with the opportunity to specialize in key areas such as circuit modelling, antenna selection, and test & measurement.

- RF Circuit Modelling & Design – Develop and analyse RF circuits, from simulation to testing.
- Antenna Selection & Design – Select and design antennas to meet the specific needs of various applications.
- Test & Measurement – Conduct RF testing, including real-time test and measurement using vector signal analysers.
- Vulnerability Analysis – Analyse and test RF systems to identify vulnerabilities and enhance security.
- System Development & Verification – Support the development and verification of mission systems, with potential field trial involvement.
- Specialist Tools Development – Design and develop bespoke research tools to support complex RF system analysis.
You’ll be working in a collaborative environment, either specializing in one area or contributing across multiple domains of RF communications engineering.

Required Skills, Qualifications And Experience
- RF communications systems implementation, test, and analysis
- RF circuit design and modelling experience
- Real-time test and measurement using spectrum analysers and vector network analysers
- Familiarity with using and developing for Software-defined radios
Desired Skills
- Experience in RF algorithm development and Digital Signal Processing
- Antenna optimisation and characterisation experience
- Embedded systems vulnerability analysis
- Knowledge of OpenCPI, GnuRadio, Python, C/C++, and other SDR development tools.
- VHDL, Python and/or C/C++
- Development on Linux and use of GitLab
