Systems Implementation Lead

Hybrid Working (West Midlands / Remote)
£85,000 - £95,000 base
Permanent

We are supporting a major global organisation with the appointment of a Systems Implementation Lead to join a significant, multi-year finance transformation programme.

This is a key role supporting a major ERP implementation, working across Finance and Technology to ensure business requirements are translated into effective, scalable system solutions.

We are looking for someone who combines strong systems implementation experience with a good understanding of finance processes and can operate effectively across business, technology and programme teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead key elements of a major finance systems implementation.
  • Work across Finance and Technology to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Support the delivery of the ERP programme across the implementation lifecycle.
  • Coordinate internal teams, implementation partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Support data readiness, migration, testing, cutover and deployment activities.
  • Manage key plans, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and standardise finance processes.
  • Ensure new systems and processes are successfully transitioned and embedded into BAU.

Experience

  • Strong experience delivering complex ERP / finance systems implementations.
  • Experience of SAP S/4HANA implementation or similar ERP platforms.
  • Good understanding of finance processes and systems.
  • Experience working across both Finance and Technology.
  • Experience across the full implementation lifecycle.
  • Strong programme delivery and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with systems integrators or implementation partners.
  • Experience within a large, complex or international organisation would be advantageous.
