Systems Integration Engineer
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Systems Integration Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for the development, integration and support of advanced mission planning solutions for domestic and international defence programmes.
Working across the full engineering lifecycle, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design, integration and verification of complex systems that support operational capability.
This role is responsible for supporting the development, integration, verification and certification of mission planning systems, working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams across the UK and internationally to deliver robust, high-quality solutions throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full systems engineering lifecycle from concept development through to in-service support and customer training.
- Conduct systems design and integration activities for a range of mission planning products.
- Contribute to requirements capture, design reviews, design freezes and technical decision making.
- Support system integration, verification, validation and certification activities.
- Collaborate with UK and international Systems and Software Engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Work with operational mission planning equipment to support development, testing and validation activities.
- Engage with customers and end users to support system acceptance and continuous improvement.
- Apply structured systems engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges.

Ideal Candidate:
Would have:
- Experience working across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
- Knowledge of mission planning principles or experience of complex defence systems.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and locations.
- An Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Must have:
- Recent experience within a Systems Engineering or Systems Integration role.
- A solid understanding of Systems Engineering processes.
- Experience using requirements management tools such as DOORS.
- Experience with configuration management principles and tools.
- The ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams.
