Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to join a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the integration, validation, and delivery of complex gas turbine engine systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective integration across multiple engine subsystems, working closely with design, systems, controls, electronics, testing, and certification teams. This position is ideal for an engineer with a strong understanding of gas turbine engines and the interactions between mechanical, electrical, and control system interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support systems integration activities across complex propulsion systems.
- Ensure effective integration and compatibility between engine subsystems and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical integration challenges.
- Assess and manage system interfaces, requirements, dependencies, and interactions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support system architecture development and integration planning activities.
- Review and validate engineering solutions to ensure compliance with programme and customer requirements.
- Support verification and validation activities, including analysis, testing, and issue resolution.
- Investigate and resolve integration issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Contribute to technical reviews, design assessments, and stakeholder meetings.
- Ensure engineering activities are delivered in accordance with programme schedules, quality requirements, and industry best practices.

Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Industry experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or a related engineering function.
- Experience working with gas turbine engines or complex propulsion systems.
- Strong understanding of system integration principles and the interactions between multiple engineering disciplines and subsystems.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems and their integration within complex engineered products.
- Experience managing technical interfaces, requirements, and system dependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive technical solutions.
- Enthusiastic learner with the ability to adapt within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of engine electrical hardware and associated interfaces.
- Experience within the aerospace, defence, energy, or other highly regulated engineering sectors.
- Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies and requirements management tools.
- Experience supporting verification, validation, and testing activities.
- Understanding of engine control systems and integration processes.
- Knowledge of product development lifecycles within complex engineering programmes.
