Systems Lead (Sizewell C) Wilson James, Sizewell C
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the programme's operational systems function, priorities, resources and service-performance arrangements.
- Own the systems roadmap for WMS, DMS, Control Tower, interfaces and supporting digital services.
- Translate agreed operational requirements into controlled configuration, development and integration activity.
- Maintain governance for access, security, data, architecture, change, release and system acceptance.
- Lead service monitoring, incident, problem and supplier management and ensure timely recovery from failures.
- Own end-to-end testing, readiness evidence, deployment and operational handover for system changes.
- Ensure master data, interfaces and reporting support accurate material control and a defensible custody chain.
- Lead the System Administrator and coordinate superusers, training, adoption and support arrangements.
- Manage system suppliers, dependencies, licences and service commitments within approved commercial arrangements.
- Maintain business-continuity, recovery and controlled manual-workaround arrangements for system outages.
- Report service health, delivery progress, risks, decisions and improvement opportunities to programme leadership.

Essential Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at technical and management levels.
- Strong IT and systems-service-management capability across complex business applications.
- CITB HS&E Managers and Professionals certificate (MAPS)
- Ability to satisfy all Sizewell C security, vetting and site access requirements.
- Relevant IT, systems, data, logistics-technology or related qualification, or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- A degree or equivalent qualification in an IT, systems, data or supply-chain discipline.
- ITIL, project-management, business-analysis or another relevant professional qualification.
- A working knowledge of:
- Blue Yonder or comparable Warehouse Management Systems
- Fulcrum or comparable Delivery Management Systems
- Control Tower analytics, integration patterns and master-data governance
- Cyber security, business continuity and major-project digital governance

Experience
- Significant experience leading business systems, digital operations or application-service delivery.
- Strong understanding of WMS, DMS, Control Tower or comparable logistics technology.
- Experience governing integrations, master data, access, configuration, testing and controlled change.
- Proven capability managing incidents, problems, releases, suppliers and service performance.
- Ability to translate operational needs into clear technical requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong data-governance, information-security and system-resilience awareness.
- Experience leading administrators, analysts, superusers or technical delivery resources.
- Good commercial awareness covering licences, suppliers, scope, service levels and change.
- Excellent stakeholder communication across operational, technical, client and senior audiences.
- Structured problem-solving and decision-making under operational pressure.
