Position: IT Manager
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60 - $75/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive input and insights on IT strategy development, systems architecture planning, and infrastructure optimization scenarios.
- Evaluate and comment on real-world problems in vendor management and procurement processes, ensuring effective collaboration and system integration.
- Contribute real-world examples and recommendations regarding security compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory standards.
- Review and critique proposed IT solutions, identifying potential gaps or areas for improvement in architecture and implementation.
- Share best practices in team leadership, knowledge transfer, and upskilling within technical organizations.
- Deliver detailed feedback on documentation, workflows, and process designs to improve clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency.

Requirements
- Have strong relevant experience in the domain as an IT/Systems Manager, leading technical teams or managing enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, and technology roadmapping.
- Strong background in vendor management, contract evaluation, and integration of third-party solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and risk management practices.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals, with a passion for fostering growth and best practices.
